Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Soup with Rice

6 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup long grain rice
2 carrots, sliced
1 cup boneless skinless chicken breast, chopped

Recipe Directions for Chicken Soup with Rice

  1. Place the stock in a large saucepan and turn the heat to medium high. When it is just about boiling, turn the heat down to medium so that it bubbles, but not vigorously. Stir in the rice, carrot, and celery and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are all tender, about 20 mins.

  2. Stir in the chicken. Cook another 10 minutes, until chicken is cooked.
