Used epicure selections 3 onion mix and Provencial Herbs to spice up this dish

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Soup

3 pound whole chicken
1/2 rutabega, cubes
3 carrots, sliced
2 stalks celery, quartered
1 leek, quartered
16 g Chicken Bouillon
1 salt and pepper to taste
6 c water
1 Herbs to taste

Recipe Directions for Chicken Soup

  1. Place chicken, parsnip, turnip, carrots, celery, leek, onion, parsley and dill in an 8 quart stock pot; cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover, and simmer for 2 hours.

  2. 2. Remove whole chicken from soup, tear meat from bone, and set meat aside. Discard chicken bones, parsley and dill. Return chick to pot. Salt and pepper to taste.
