Chicken soup with pearl barley and quinoa

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Soup

1 cup, chopped Carrots
1 cup slices Parsnips
1 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
1 cup, diced Celery
1 cup, chopped or diced Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
0.5 cup Pearled Barley
0.25 cup Quinoa
6 cup Soup, stock, chicken, home-prepared
1 Teaspoon Thyme
1 tbsp chopped Onions

Recipe Directions for Chicken Soup

Cover chicken carcass with water in a crock pot and cook on low for 12-24 hours. Remove chicken from carcass, strain stock. Put chicken back into stock with the chopped vegetables,thyme, pearl barley and quinoa, cook on high 4-6 hours or low 8-10 hours. Season with salt and pepper
