Recipe Ingredients for chicken soup

300 grams chicken thigh, skinless
1 medium onion
1 medium carrot
6 cups water
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 lb potatoes, cubed

Recipe Directions for chicken soup

  1. put the raw skinless chicken in a pot with 6 cups of water and bring to a boil.

  2. Add onion, carrots (diced), salt and pepper and simmer for at least 2 hours

  3. remove the bones and shred the chicken to bite size pieces

  4. Add potatoes and simmer another 30 minutes

  5. Let rest for at least 30 minutes

  6. Reheat if necessary just before serving.
