Very basic yet yummy chicken soup to cure all ills.... or to taste good. This freezes well. I cook rice/pasta/potatoes separately then place a little in the bowl before ladleing the soup.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Soup

12 cups chicken stock
3 cups water
2 cups diced cooked chicken thighs without skin
2 cups diced celery
1 1/2 cups chopped carrots
4 cloves garlic
1 medium onion

Recipe Directions for Chicken Soup

  1. Heat stock and water to a simmer.

  2. Dice garlic and onion.

  3. Add all veggies to the pot; bring to boil.

  4. Shred chicken and add to pot.

  5. Bring to boil, then simmer for 30 mins.
