This is the soup we make when one of us is under the weather.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Soup

9 piece chicken thighs
1/2 large onion
8 garlic cloves
3 cans chicken broth
6 cups of water
3 chicken bouillon cubes
2 cups brocolli
8 stalk, medium celery
4 medium carrots
2 cups cabbage

Recipe Directions for Chicken Soup

  1. Put onion, garlic, chicken, broth, water and bouillon cubes in a pot and bring to boil.

  2. Reduce heat to medium and let cook 1/2 hour.

  3. Remove ingredients from broth. Toss onion and garlic.

  4. Add remaining ingredients to broth and cut up chicken and add.

  5. Cook at medium until vegetables are at desired tenderness.
