Chicken and Veggie soup with lots of flavor.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Soup

18 oz. chicken breast
3 large (72g) carrots
1 cup, diced celery
1/2 cup, diced onions
3/4 cup, diced mushrooms
3 quarts chicken broth
1 cup, cooked brown rice
1 cup, cooked pearled barley
2 tsp. poultry seasoning

Recipe Directions for Chicken Soup

  1. Put the chicken breast in a large pan with chicken broth, onions, celery, mushrooms, carrots, and poultry seasoning.

  2. Boil until chicken is cooked thoroughly.

  3. Remove chicken and chop it into bite-size pieces, then return to the soup.

  4. Add brown rice and barley to the soup and simmer for at least a 1/2 hour.
