Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Soup

1 pound chicken
4 cups carrots
1 onion
4 cups celery
2 tablespoons lemon juice
4 ounces pasta, dry
1 pinch oregano

Recipe Directions for Chicken Soup

Cook the chicken in enough water to completely cover. When cooked, remove from broth. Add the carrots, onions, celery, the juice of one lemon, salt, pepper and a pinch of oregano to the broth. Remove skin and bones from the chicken and dice or shred. Add the meat to the broth and continue cooking. Cook the pasta separately. Remove the lemon just before serving. Add the pasta to each bowl with the soup.
