Chicken and vegetable soup for eating with dumplings.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken soup

1/2 cup butter
3/5 lb boneless skinless chicken
1 medium onion, chopped
24 oz. water
16 oz. chicken broth
6 carrots, chopped
6 medium potatoes, cubed
1 cup celery, chopped

Recipe Directions for Chicken soup

  1. Saute onions in butter, add water and broth. Chop and add vegetables, then cut chicken breast and add, boiling until meat is cooked and vegetables are tender.

  2. Good with dumplings.
