Recipe Ingredients for Chicken soup

36 oz. water
2 2/5 lb. chicken breast
1 lb. broccoli (steamed)
8 oz. mushrooms (sliced & sauted)

Recipe Directions for Chicken soup

  1. Steam broccoli (and other veggies, if wanted). Use the water from the vegetables.

  2. I usually save the water from steamed vegetables in a container in the freezer. Then I add to it for at least three weeks, until I have about 36 oz. or more of water.

  3. In a crock pot, place "vegetable" water and chicken and cook on low. Meal is cooked when you return from work.

  4. Add vegetables. Mushrooms can be sliced and sauteed the day before and added later.
