Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Soup Homemade

1 zucchini
4 large carrots
2 celery stalks
6 cooked chicken drumsticks (boiled)
3 tbsps Chicken Boullion (total 45 calories)
3/4 tsp pepper
1 1/2 tsp garlic salt
2 tbsps dill weed

Recipe Directions for Chicken Soup Homemade

  1. Cook 1 large chicken skinned or several pieces (6-7 drumsticks or thighs) in boiling water until done. Approximately 1 hour.

  2. Remove chicken from water to cool.

  3. Add Zucchini, Carrots, Celery and any other vegetables to water.

  4. After chicken has cooled, tear off meat and add to water and vegetables.

  5. Season with Chicken boullion granules approx 3 tbsps or to taste.

  6. Add pepper and garlic salt.

  7. Add Dill weed plenty to flavor

  8. continue to cook on low heat for one or more hours.

  9. May put in crockpot and cook slowly for 4-5 hours.

  10. Pour over cooked egg noodles
