Recipe Ingredients for Chicken-Sausage Casserole

2 cup chopped onion
14 1/2 ounce stewed tomatoes
9 oz cooked chopped chicken
14 oz smoked sausage
2 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp pepper
14 oz low sodium chicken broth
1 1/4 cup Water
1/2 teaspoon saffron
1 cup frozen peas

Recipe Directions for Chicken-Sausage Casserole

Place first 8 ingredients in a 4 qt slow cooker coated with cooking spray. Combine broth water and saffron add to cooker. Stir well. Cover and cook on low 4 hrs and 30 minutes. Remove lid stir in peas. Cover and cook on High 10 minutes. Yields 6 servings (serving size about 1 1/2 cups
