Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Saag

182 grams Spinach
2 tsp Ginger Root
2 tsp Garlic
1 oz Chilli
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 oz Bay Leaves
1/4 tsp Peppercorns
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
400 grams Diced Italian Tomatoes
2 tsp Curry Powder
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 serving Slimers Chioce Unsweetened Natural Yogurt
650 grams Chicken

Recipe Directions for Chicken Saag

  1. Cook spinach without water in covered pan.Put spinach, garlic, ginger, chilli with 1/4 cup water into food processor and process ta a puree. Heat oil add bay leaves and peppercorns fry for 2 mins. Add onion fry for 7 mins. Add The tomatoes, curry powder, salt and mix well allow to cook for 2 mins.

  2. Add spinach puree and 1/2 cup of water and simmer for 5 mins. Stir in yogurt and simmer for further 5 mins. Add the chicken and cook uncovered for 30 mins. Serve on rice or with roti
