Homemade Chicken and Rice soup with Beans & Corn

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken & Rice Soup

340 grams Corn, Sweet, Yellow
744 grams Safeway Select - Garlic Herb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
531 grams Cannellini White Kidney Beans
3 cup Rice, Brown, Long-grain, Cooked
16 fl oz Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth
4 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Chicken & Rice Soup

  1. PLACE white beans in slow cooker, let cook on low heat for roughly 3 hours.

  2. POUR out water & beans from slow cooker.

  3. ADD broth, water and beans back into the slow cooker.

  4. ADD chicken & precooked rice. This is so the rice doesn't turn to mush or soak all the liquid out of the soup.

  5. LET simmer on low for about 20 minutes, then add frozen corn. This is so the corn doesn't turn to much as well.

  6. LET continue to cook on low for another half hour to 45 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.

  7. SERVE with favorite bread or separate out for the freezer.
