Mixed veggies, chicken and rice - all in one skillet!

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken and Rice

1 cup dry rice
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups chopped chicken
1 cup chopped celery
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
4 small potatoes
1/2 chopped onion
1 tbsp ground sage
2 tsp thyme

Recipe Directions for Chicken and Rice

  1. chop all vegetables

  2. place onion and celery in skillet with 1 cup of the broth

  3. cook until softening begins

  4. add chopped chicken & simmer 10 minutes

  5. add all other ingredients and cook until rice and potatoes are soft
