Chicken, Brown Rice, and Vegetables

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Rice Pilaf

1.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 tsp Salt, Table
0.75 cup Rice, Brown, Medium-grain, Cooked
3 tsp Butter
12 oz Green Onions
1 clove Garlic
4 oz Carrots, Baby
2 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
1 cup Peas Chick
2 large Egg, Whole
1 tsp Pepper, Black
0.25 cup Salted In-Shell Peanuts
0.13 cup Soy Sauce
4 pieces Boneless Skinless Chicken Tenderloins

Recipe Directions for Chicken Rice Pilaf

  1. Boil water, add rice and simmer for 45 minutes or until rice is tender

  2. Heat butter in skillet over medium heat

  3. Chop the onions, garlic and carrots and add to the skillet

  4. Stir occasionally for 5 minutes

  5. Add mushrooms and chickpeas to the skillet

  6. Add eggs and cook thoroughly

  7. Fold in the rice and serve
