Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Ravioli

595 g ground chicken
680 ml Hunts thick & spicy spaghetti sauce
1 tbsp margarine
1 tbsp dried parsley
3 tbsp bread crumbs
2 tbsp parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup oil
1 1/4 cup water
1/2 cup light sour cream

Recipe Directions for Chicken Ravioli

  1. Pan fry ground chicken. Try not to burn the chicken.

  2. Process 100g (cooked) ground chicken with parsley, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and parmesan cheese in blender or food processor. This will make the meat fine, and kind of gross looking, but once it's mixed with the rest, it tastes really good. Promise.

  3. Beat egg and add to mixture along with the margarine.

  4. Mix flour, salt, oil, water and sour cream to make dough.

  5. Roll as thin as possible. If you're only making half a recipe of something, make sure to halve the whole recipe, not just the flour, or it won't turn out. Oh and when you're adding stuff to your kitchen aid mixture, don't drop the plastic measuring cup into the bowl while it's going. It makes a mess and ruins your measuring cup.

  6. Roll out as thin as possible. Next time, roll it thinner than you did this time, so they aren't so doughy. Roll, roll, roll some more.

  7. Cut into squares and stuff with meat mixture. Trim excess dough. They may not look pretty like the canned ones, but they will taste good.

  8. Add to salted, boiling water and cook (call your mom to find out how to tell if they are done) and then cook them until they float to the top. At this point I let them cook a while longer. Oh and cook them in smaller batches so they have room to do their thing.

  9. Meanwhile, mix sauce with the remainder of the ground chicken. Add ravioli to sauce and heat everything through together. Simmer for a bit while you wait for your husband to come home an hour after he was supposed to.

  10. Eat your dinner while hearing about how awesome of a cook you are. : P
