This creamy pasta and vegetable dish is a real crowd pleaser.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Primavera

7 ounce vegetable broth
1 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, sliced
1/8 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/16 teaspoon salt
4 cups broccoli
1 small carrot
3 ounces pasta shells
6 oz chicken tenderloins

Recipe Directions for Chicken Primavera

  1. Cook chicken and chop into bite sized pieces. Set aside.

  2. Put a large pot of water on to boil.

  3. Meanwhile, whisk broth and flour in a small bowl. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring, until just beginning to brown, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the broth mixture to the pan, bring to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, about 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in cheese, parsley (or dill tarragon, or chives) and salt.

  4. Add vegetables and shell pasta to the boiling water; return the water to a simmer and cook until the vegetables and pasta are tender, 3 to 5 minutes. Drain; add pasta, vegetables and chicken to the pan with the sauce and stir to coat.
