Recipe Ingredients for chicken potpie

6 ounces potatoes
150 g onions
4 ounces mushrooms
60 g celery
60 g carrot
1/8 cup parsley, fresh
1/4 tsp thyme, dried
1 tbsp flour
1 3/10 cups nonfat milk
1/4 cup vegetable broth
6 ounces chicken

Recipe Directions for chicken potpie

  1. cook chicken.

  2. saute onions through thyme for five minutes.

  3. reduce heat to low and sprinkle flour over veggies. cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

  4. stir in milk and broth and increase heat to med-hi and bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes till thickened.

  5. add chicken, salt and pepper to taste.

  6. spoon evenly into ramekins and top with uncooked biscuit. put on top of ramekins and bake at 375 or till top is golden.
