Recipe Ingredients for chicken in a pot

0.25 cup, chopped Carrots
4 oz Whole Chicken (Small)
0.25 cup, diced Celery
2 tbsp chopped Onions
0.25 cup, chopped Collards
0.25 tbsp Sage, Ground
0.25 tsp Rosemary, Dried
0.13 tsp Sea Salt
1 dash Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for chicken in a pot

  1. put 1 whole onion, 5 carrots, 4 celery stalks, 3 cloves of garlic and 1 bunch of collard greens into a pressure cooker,

  2. pour water over to reach the minimum water required by the cooker,

  3. season chicken on all sides with salt, pepper, sage and rosemary.

  4. place chicken on top of vegetables making sure that it does not come high enough to touch lid

  5. bring to a boil, close lid and start timing when pressure is attained

  6. time 6 minutes for every pound of chicken.

  7. serve with sweet potato on the side
