1 cup of cubed chicken 1/2 cup of peas 1 cup of potatoes 1 cup of mushroom soup 1/4 cup of onion 1 cup of whole wheat flour 2 tsp. vegetable shortening 1/2 cup water 1 tsp. baking soda

Recipe Ingredients for chicken pot pie

1 cup Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
1 cup Peas, Green
1 cup Potatoes, White, Flesh And Skin
1 cup Soup, Cream Of Mushroom
1 cup Onions
1 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
2 tbsp Shortening, Multipurpose, Soybean (Hydrogenated) And Palm (Hydrogenated)
1 cup Water
1 tsp Leavening Agents, Baking Soda

Recipe Directions for chicken pot pie

  1. Make the pastry crust (flour, shortening, water and baking soda) - let stand 1/2 hour then roll into pie shell with some left on the side for a criss cross top.

  2. 2.Pre-boil potatoes and chicken (10 min).

  3. 3.Combine the ingredients into pie shell. cover pie bake at 350 for 45 min. or unitl bubbly.
