Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Pot Pie

2 cloves, raw Garlic
1/2 cup Onions
16 ounces(112 g) Thighs
425 grams Pie Crusts
10 oz Cream of Potato Soup
84.095 oz Healthy Recipe Soup

Recipe Directions for Chicken Pot Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 425.

  2. Wash and pat dry chicken thighs, season with salt, pepper & oregano.

  3. Follow the pie crust instrucitons for thawing and preparing a two crust pie.

  4. Heat oil over med heat in a preheated pan, add onion and cook for 1-2 min then add garlic and cook for another minute.

  5. Add Chicken thighs and fresh thyme to heated pan with garlic and onion. Brown chicken on both sides on med-high heat about 5 min on each side, then turn heat down to med low and add a 1/4 cup of dry white wine to the chicken and cook on low for 15 min. or until juices run clear.

  6. Remove chicken only from the pan and let cool down enough to dice/shred.

  7. Meanwhile add the cream of potato & cream of chicken soups to the heated pan and cook on the lowest setting, just enough to warm the soups.

  8. Dice or shred the cooled chicken and add to the soups, stir till the soup and chicken are combined.

  9. Add chicken and soup mixture to prepared pie crust.

  10. Cover the top of pie with the other pie crust and cut two slits in the center.

  11. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until crust is golden and the inside is bubbly.
