This is fun to divide into ramekin dishes to make individual servings.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Pot Pie

1/3 c. margarine
1/3 c. whole wheat flour
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1 2/5 tsp pepper
2 tsp chicken bouillion
1 3/4 c hot water
2/3 c milk
2 c chicken, cooked and chopped
10 oz frozen mixed vegetables
1 frozen pie crust, cut into strips

Recipe Directions for Chicken Pot Pie

Melt margarine in skillet over low heat. Stir in flour, onion, salt and pepper. Cook until smooth and bubbly, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in bouillin dissolved in hot water. Add milk and mix well. Boil for one minute, stirring constantly. Fold in chicken and vegetables. Spoon mixtuer into baking dish. Top with pie crust strips, laid in lattice pattern, Bake at 425 degrees for 10-35 minutes, or until brown.
