Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Pot Pie

238 grams Chicken
1 tbsp Butter
2 cloves, raw Garlic
86 grams Onions
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
100 grams Carrots
150 grams Mushrooms
1/2 cup Peas, Green
1 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
20 grams Stone Ground 100% Wholemeal Plain Flour
4 Scone Scone

Recipe Directions for Chicken Pot Pie

  1. brown chicken off and then remove from pan. Add onions and garlic and saute until soft. Add mushrooms whole if small or chopped in half if large. Add diced carrot and cook for 5 minutes.

  2. Add butter and remaining oil if any, then add flour and cook for 2 minutes. Add milk and stir constantly until thickened. Add peas and remove from heat.

  3. put the 4 scones on top and put in pre-heated oven (400) for 25 minutes or until scones are cooked.
