This is my family's favorite. My husband always jokes about how I should go into the Pot Pie business. He claims they would fly off of the shelves!!!!

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Pot Pie - Lauri's

2 Chicken Breast
2 Chicken Boullion Cubes
1 medium onion
6 Carrots
16 oz frozen peas
1/4 cup cream
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
2 Pillsbury Pie crust

Recipe Directions for Chicken Pot Pie - Lauri's

  1. Boil 2 whole chicken breasts with 2 chicken boullion cubes, 1 onion and carrots. Drain and save the juice.

  2. Place pie crust on bottom of a deep pie plate. Put chicken chunks and drained mixture of onions and carrots on top of crust.

  3. Add 1/2 cup milk or 1/4 cream to 2 cups of the saved chicken broth.

  4. In separte pan, make a roue by melting the butter and adding flour (makes a paste). Add broth/milk mixture to this and stir constantly until bubbly and thick. Pour over chicken.

  5. Cover with pie crust. Slit on top in middle. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes (or until desired golden brown color is attained). ....mmmmmm
