I use 2 cup pyrex dishes and Arnolds Sandwich thins or Weight Watcher's Bread for the crust to keep the fat and calories down. The crust is your choice so not included here.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Pot Pie Filling

16 oz frozen mixed vegetables
370 g raw chicken breast
2 c frozen chopped onion
3 c chicken broth
1/2 c all purpose flour
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Recipe Directions for Chicken Pot Pie Filling

  1. Put everything in a pot except flour.

  2. Simmer for about 45 minutes

  3. Stir flour into about a half cup water and then stir into pot to thicken

  4. Serve over toast, pasta or pitas or flatbread or eat as is. For pot pies, put into crust or whatever and bake for up to 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
