Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Pita

1 pita
1/2 chicken breast
1 tablespoon chopped red pepper
1/8 sliced vidalia onion
1/2 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons honey

Recipe Directions for Chicken Pita

  1. Melt butter in non-stick pan.

  2. Slice onion and brown them in the butter on medium heat.

  3. While heating the onion, chop red pepper.

  4. Cut chicken into small bite size pieces.

  5. Place chicken and peppers in the pan with the onions.

  6. When the chicken is cooked on one side flip it and allow the other side to cook.

  7. When the chicken is completely cooked, add the honey and stir to get everything coated with the honey.

  8. Allow chicken mixture to cool for a few minutes.

  9. Cut pita in half and fill with the chicken filling.
