This type of pasta salad contains many vegetables. It also is made with whole wheat noodles, and the mayonnaise used is healthier due to the presence of canola oil. Also, the type of milk used is half percent. The chicken is already packaged and the can it comes in allows it to be packed in water. It contains protein, fiber, and vitamin C. It can be served in a large bowl and one can choose how much he/she wants. It is a healthy part to a summer or spring lunch, especially a barbeque.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Pasta Salad

1 oz. Ranch Dressing, Seasoning Mix
1 head of cauliflower
2 cups milk(.5%)
2 cups mayonnaise, made with canola oil
1 lb. noodles, whole wheat
1 bunch broccoli
12 1/2 oz Chicken Breast, packed in water

Recipe Directions for Chicken Pasta Salad

  1. Chop the broccoli and cauliflower into very small peices, almost as if they are shreaded.

  2. Get all of the water out of the can of chicken, then chop or mash or shread the chicken into the same thickness as the broccoli and cauliflower.

  3. Boil the noodles in water until they are soft.

  4. Put all of the ingrediants into on elarge bowl and stir until completely mixed.

  5. Refridgerate before serving.
