Jazz up plain pasta sauce with fresh vegetables and chicken.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken pasta

1/3 lb boiled chicken breast
3/4 cup onion, cooked, with salt
1/2 cup green pepper
1/3 cup diced carrot
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
1 1/2 cup Traditional Pasta Sauce
1/4 lb spaghetti
2 oz asiago cheese

Recipe Directions for Chicken pasta

  1. Place chicken in boiling water and boil until cooked through.

  2. Saute onions, green pepper, and carrots in oil.

  3. Salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Add red pepper flakes and garlic.

  5. Add jarred pasta sauce, cover and simmer.

  6. Cook pasta as directed.

  7. Add pasta straight to sauce.

  8. Sprinkle cheese over pasta and serve.
