Recipe Ingredients for Chicken + Pasta (high protein)

1 Chicken Breast
1/8 box (2/3 cup) penne pasta
1/2 cup Marinara

Recipe Directions for Chicken + Pasta (high protein)

  1. Freshly cracked salt in a pot of hot water and put on stove on high

  2. Put frying pan on medium-high heat

  3. Dice the chicken breast into small cubes

  4. very lightly coat the breast with oil; then salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, thyme

  5. When pot is boiling, add in 1/2 or 2/3 cups of pasta (I prefer 1/2 cup, but recipe would only allow 2/3) - cook for 10-11 min

  6. When pan is hot, add in chicken, lightly browning to lock in the juices to keep it tender

  7. After chicken is lightly browned, reduce heat to LOW and add in ~1/2 cup of marinara sauce

  8. When pasta is done, drain and toss in frying pan to pan sear and cover the pasta completely in the marinara
