Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Parmigiana

5 oz chicken breast, no skin
1 oz mozzarella cheese
27 grams bread crumbs
1/8 cup egg beaters
2 tbsp pasta sauce
10 grams olive oil

Recipe Directions for Chicken Parmigiana

  1. Preheat oven to 425

  2. dip chicken in egg beaters, roll in bread crumbs, dip into egg beaters again and roll in bread crumbs.

  3. pour 1/4" olive oil in electric skillet, preheat to 375

  4. Fry chicken untl dark golden brown. Chicken will not be fully cooked yet

  5. transfer to cookie sheet and spread pasta sauce over chicken

  6. cover with mozzarella and sprinkle with a little dry oregano if desired

  7. place chicken in oven and cook until cheese is golden brown, 10-14 minutes
