Serves four. 10 minutes prep time, 50 minutes cook time.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Parmesean

4 chicken breast meat
1 egg
1/4 cup lowfat milk
1 cup italian breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 cups canned diced tomatoes
1 cup marinara sauce
1/2 cup shredded parmesean cheese

Recipe Directions for Chicken Parmesean

  1. Beat together egg and milk. Dip chicken into mixture, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat.

  2. Melt butter in large pan over high heat. Add chicken and cook unitl lightly brown on each side. Remove from pan into large baking dish.

  3. Top with mozzarella cheese, followed by tomatoes and sauce. Sprinkle parmesean cheese over top.

  4. Cover and cook in 325 degree (F) oven for 30 minutes. Remove cover and cook 10 minutes more.
