A lighter version of Parmesan Chicken

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Parmesan

1 lb. Boneless Skinless Chicken Tenderloins
1/4 cup 2% milk
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1/4 cup Parmesan
1/2 tsp basil
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp butter

Recipe Directions for Chicken Parmesan

  1. Pound chicken tenderloins until very thin.

  2. Mix milk with lemon juice in shallow bowl; set aside.

  3. Mix bread crumbs, Parmesan and basil in 1 gallon zip-lock bag.

  4. Dip chicken in milk mixture.

  5. Shake with coating mixture in bag.

  6. Heat oil and butter until hot.

  7. Brown chicken 2-3 minutes on each side until chicken juices run clear.
