This is a low-fat version - the killer is the mozzarella cheese!

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Parmesan

16 oz chicken breast
3 T light butter
1 1/2 oz bread crumbs
2 T grated Parmesan cheese
16 oz tomato sauce
4 oz mozzarella cheese
1 egg white
1 t garlic powder
1/2 t oregano
1 t sugar

Recipe Directions for Chicken Parmesan

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Divide chicken into 4 equal pieces and flatten.

  3. Melt butter in large glass baking dish in oven.

  4. Put egg white in a bowl - whip slightly

  5. Mix bread crumbs with parmesan cheese

  6. Place.

  7. Simmer sauce with spices while preparing rest of recipe.

  8. Dip chicken in egg white then in crumb mixture.

  9. Bake 10 minutes on each side.

  10. Pour tomato sauce over chicken and top with cheese

  11. Broil until cheese is golden brown.
