Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Parmesan

16 oz chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, thawed
8 oz spaghetti, whole wheat
29 oz tomato sauce
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp basil
1 tbsp parsley
1/2 tsp rosemary
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp Splenda
2/3 cup parmesan cheese
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp basil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 egg
3 tbsp olive oil
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Chicken Parmesan

  1. Prepare spaghetti according to directions on box.

  2. In medium saucepan, heat tomato sauce, oregano, basil, parsley, rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder and Splenda over medium heat.

  3. In a medium bowl, mix parmesan cheese, oregano, basil and garlic powder. Set aside.

  4. Break egg into a small bowl and beat well with a fork.

  5. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

  6. Rinse and pat chicken dry. Dip in egg, then coat with cheese mixture. Place all coated chicken breasts in skillet. Fry on one side for four minutes, or until coating is golden brown. Flip chicken and repeat on other side. Fry chicken until center is no longer pink.

  7. Drain spaghetti and divide among four plates. Place a chicken breast on each serving of spaghetti then top with 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese.
