Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Parm Sauce

16 oz Chicken
793 4/5 grams Crushed Tomatoes
28 oz Tomato Puree
90 g Plain Bread Crumbs
50 grams Parmesan, Grated Cheese
1 large Egg, Whole
15 grams Extra Virgin Olive Oil
14 oz Mozzarella Low Moisture Part Skim

Recipe Directions for Chicken Parm Sauce

  1. cut chicken breast into 1" to 1.5" pieces.

  2. mix breadcrumbs and grated parmesan, add italian herbs to taste.

  3. beat egg with small amount of water to make eggwash.

  4. dip chicken pieces into eggwash and then dredge in breadcrumb mixture until coated.

  5. heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat.

  6. place breaded chicken pieces in skillet, cook thoroughly,

  7. Add remaining breadcrumb/cheese mixture to pan as well and cook along with chicken.

  8. when chicken is cooked, add crushed tomatoes and tomato puree to skillet.

  9. reduce heat and simmer until bubbling and heated through; be sure to stir occasionally.

  10. serve sauce and chicken over cooked pasta.

  11. garnish with 1/2 c shredded mozzarella.
