Recipe Ingredients for chicken paprikash

3 lbs chicken thighs, skinless
8 cups chicken broth
3 large onions, chopped
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp black pepper
1/2 cup flour
3 tbsp paprika
3 cups sour cream
2 cups tomatoes, chopped

Recipe Directions for chicken paprikash

Mix together the flour, cayenne, black pepper and paprika in ziploc bag. Add chicken pieces and shake to coat. Brown in vegetable oil and set aside. Add onions to oil and brown, add more cayenne to taste. Add chicken broth and chicken pieces and bring to simmer for 45 minutes. Take off heat. Take out chicken and set aside. Mix half of sour cream with remaining flour and pepper mixture and temper with a bit of broth. Add tempered sour cream back to broth and place back on medium heat and wisk until thickened. Add tomatoes to remaining sour cream and add at very end while off heat. Serve over noodles.
