Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Paprikash

1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced
2 medium onions
2 large carrots
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp paprika
2 tbsp flour
1 cup low salt chicken broth
1 bell pepper, cut in strips
3 tbsp fat free sour cream

Recipe Directions for Chicken Paprikash

  1. Saute onions, garlic and chopped carrots in oil. Cook for about 5 minutes.

  2. Add flour and paprika cooking for another minute or two.

  3. Add broth and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.

  4. Add bell pepper. Cover and cook until pepper is tender, stirring occasionally.

  5. Sauce should be slightly thickened.

  6. Add chicken and cook uncovered 1 or 2 minutes.

  7. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.

  8. Serve immediately.
