Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Paprika

2 t vegetable oil
1 c onion, coarsely chopped
1/4 t garlic powder
4 t paprika
1/4 t pepper
1 c chicken bouillon
2 T cornstarch
1/2 c water
2 c chicken, skinned and cooked
1 c frozen peas
1 c plain low-fat yogurt
2 c egg noodles, cooked

Recipe Directions for Chicken Paprika

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet and add the onion, garlic powder, paprika and pepper.

  2. Cook until tender, stirring frequently.

  3. Add the bouillon.

  4. Blend the cornstarch in the water and add to the skillet; stir until smooth.

  5. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and add the chicken and peas.

  6. Boil for 1 minute.

  7. Remove from the heat; stir in the yogurt until blended.

  8. Serve over the noodles.
