Recipe Ingredients for Chicken with pan sauce

16 oz boneless skinless chicken breast
1/4 tsp black pepper
70 g butter
2/3 cup white wine
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tbsp whipping cream

Recipe Directions for Chicken with pan sauce

  1. Cut and flatten chicken breasts with meat mallet to 1/4 inch thick.

  2. In large skillet melt 1 tbsp butter over medium high heat. Reduce heat to medium, cook chicken for 6 to 8 minutes or until no longer pink, turning once. Transfer to platter, keep warm.

  3. Add wine, broth to hot skillet. Cook and stir, scraping up browned bits from bottom. Bring to boiling and boil for 10-15 minutes or until liquid is reduced to 1/4 cup. Reduce heat to medium low.

  4. Stir in cream, add remaining butter, 1 tbsp at a time, stirring til melted. Sauce should be slightly thickened. Spoon over chicken and serve.
