Recipe Ingredients for chicken pad thai

8 1/2 oz chicken breast
4 oz rice noodles
10 oz zucchini
4 oz carrots
2 oz celery
2 oz onion
4 garlic cloves
3 tbs soy sauce
1 tsp corn starch
2 tsp hot sauce
2 tsp tamarind paste
2 tbs fish sauce
2 tbs brown sugar
1 4/5 oz peanuts
1 cup cilantro

Recipe Directions for chicken pad thai

  1. boil water, weigh noodles, when water boiling add noodles and then take off heat, let sit for 20 min.

  2. chop chicken into small chunks. mix 3 tbs soy sauce and 1 tsp corn starch, marinate chicken in sauce while chopping vegetables.

  3. chop all vegetables, place in steamer.

  4. chop garlic

  5. mix tamarind paste, fish sauce, hot sauce, 1/4 cup hot water from noodles and 2 tbs sugar, set aside

  6. spray wok with oil, add garlic stir for 30 seconds, add chicken and start steamer, stir chicken and garlic, if it gets too dry add 2 tbs water or chicken broth. when chicken cooked add drained noodles and sauce, stir with 2 spatulas. add steamed veggies, mix, turn down heat let simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, sprinkle peanuts and cilantro on top.
