Chicken and Great Northern White Chili

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken and Oregano Chili

347 g great northern beans
5 cups chicken broth
2 1/2 cups chicken breast, chopped
2 med red bell peppers, chopped
1 med onion, chopped
7 ounce green chilies
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano

Recipe Directions for Chicken and Oregano Chili

  1. Combine Chicken breast; salt and 5 cups of water on stove and cook until done.

  2. Let chicken cool in broth; and shred

  3. Drain broth; to remove excess fat

  4. Combine the chicken and broth with the remaining ingredients in a 6 quart slow cooker and mix well.

  5. Cook on low for 9 hours
