Recipe Ingredients for Chicken with Orange Almond Sauce

32 oz chicken breast halves (8)
1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup SPLENDA
2 tbs. cornstarch
11 oz. mandarin oranges, rinsed and drained
2 tbs. slivered almonds
1 tsp. dried onion flakes
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes

Recipe Directions for Chicken with Orange Almond Sauce

  1. Spray skillet with Pam, brown chicken pieces 4-5 minutes on each side.

  2. meanwhile, in covered jar, combine orange juice, SPLENDA and cornstarch. Shake well to blend.

  3. Pour sauce mixture into medium saucepan sprayed with cooking spray. Cook over medium heat until micture thickens, stirring constantly. Remove from heat

  4. Stire mandarin oranges, almonds, onion flakes and prsley flakes into sauce. Spoon sauce evenly over browned chicken breasts.

  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center. When serving, evely spoon sauce over chicken breasts.
