Homemade nuggets - less salt and a lot less fat

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Nuggets

24 oz. boneless skinless chicken breast
2 oz. saltine crackers
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tsp paprika
1/8 cup flour
1/8 cup canola oil

Recipe Directions for Chicken Nuggets

  1. Cut up chicken in bite size pieces

  2. Put crackers, seasonings, flour in food processor

  3. Blend for a few seconds

  4. Put chicken and cracker mix in a plastic bag

  5. Shake until well coated

  6. Add oil to bag and shake to mix again

  7. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes
