Recipe Ingredients for Chicken and Noodles

21 1/2 oz chicken breasts, chopped
3 cups water
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup carrots
1 cup celery
3 cups smart taste rotini
1 cup frozen peas
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp all purpose flour

Recipe Directions for Chicken and Noodles

  1. Cook chicken, vegetables and spices in water 20 -30 minutes. Remove chicken, and set aside.

  2. Bring broth mixture to boiling, add noodles; cook for 5 minutes. Stir in frozen peas, 1 1/2 cups milk and 1/2 tsp salt.

  3. Combine remaining 1/2 cup milk with flour. Stir into broth until thickened and bubbly. Add in chicken. Cook and stir 1 - 2 minutes more.
