Gayle's amazing homemade chicken noodle soup

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Noodle Soup

1 pint cream
5 lbs chicken
2 cups peas
2 cups carrots
20 ounces egg noodles
2 tbs cornstarch

Recipe Directions for Chicken Noodle Soup

  1. boil the chicken in one gallon of water until the meat is very tender. Remove the chicken and let it cool. When cool, remove the skin and separate out all the meat breaking into bite sized pieces.

  2. Add the vegetables to the water and let boil for 5 minutes. Then add the noodles and the chicken pieces.

  3. When noodles are al dente, mix the cornstarch with half a cup of cold water and add to the boiling soup.

  4. Pour in the cream and turn off the heat.

  5. Serve.
