Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Noodle Soup

1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 lb. carrots, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 c celery, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
14 oz. diced tomatoes
1 T instant chicken bouillon
1 T parsley
1 t salt
1/2 t rosemary
1/4 t pepper
5 c water
2 c boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 2 whole breasts, frozen OK
1 c uncooked egg noodles

Recipe Directions for Chicken Noodle Soup

  1. Combine all ingredients except noodles in crock pot. Cover and cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours, until chicken and vegetables are tender.

  2. Remove chicken from crock pot. Add noodles to crock pot. Stirring to blend. Cover and cook for 30 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, cut chicken into bite size pieces. Return chicken to crock pot to heat as noodles finish cooking. Reduce heat to low for serving.
