Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Noodle Soup

3 lbs. chicken breasts
5 cups water
5 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1 tbsp minced garlic
13 ounces spinach
29 ounces sliced carrots - drained
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
96 oz fat free chicken broth
16 oz thin egg noodles

Recipe Directions for Chicken Noodle Soup

  1. Boil - chicken breasts in water with onion, garlic, salt pepper, lemon juice until done - high heat

  2. Cube chicken into small cubes after it is cooked - save broth

  3. add chicken back to broth with 96 oz of chicken broth (3 cartons) - medium heat

  4. add 2 cans carrots, 1 can spinach and 2 small cans mushrooms - all drained -

  5. bring all to a boil

  6. add noodles (alternative - cook noodles seperately and add to soup mixture per serving - this way noodles don't expand so much during refrigeration and soak up all the broth)

  7. Soup is done when noodles are done.
