This is a lower calorie version of chicken fried rice, a personal favorite of mine. This is only a once in a while recipe, as it is high in cholesterol and sodium.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Non-Fried Rice


Ingredients:
1/4 c. White or Brown rice (view)
1/2 c. Frozen Peas (view)
86 g. of a Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
1 large Egg (view)
4 tsp. Soy Sauce (view)
1 tbsp. Soy Sauce (view)

Recipe Directions for Chicken Non-Fried Rice

  1. Instructions:

  2. 1. Prepare rice according to the instructions on the package, DO NOT add butter or extra salt.

  3. 2. Dice half the chicken breast into cubes and cook in a pan with 1tbsp soy sauce.

  4. 3. After about 10 min add the peas to the rice

  5. 4. Add the egg to the chicken and cook until done.

  6. 5. Add the cooked rice and peas to the pan and add the remaining soy sauce.

  7. 6. Stir until well mixed.
