very good chicken n dumplings that is very simple to make.

Recipe Ingredients for chicken n dumplings

3 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
3 lbs russet potatoes
72 oz. low sodium chicken broth
32 serving Buttermilk Biscuits

Recipe Directions for chicken n dumplings

  1. boil chicken until tender and cooked thru in the broth.

  2. take out chicken and let cool and then shred.

  3. cook cubed potatoes in broth until tender.

  4. Add chicken back to broth.

  5. Cut biscuits into bite size pieces and place in pot with rest of ingredients.

  6. Cook until biscuits are cooked thru in the middle.

  7. For any flavoring, add to broth before you cook chicken. I mix it up to give my finished product a different flavor each time. I usually add just a little bit of butter to the final product in the bowl just for a little added richness.
